The Inline I/O system from Phoenix Contact can now also be used for the potentially explosive area. Ex i modules are simply aligned after the intrinsically safe supply terminal.
Either only the blue Ex i modules are used for this or existing I/O stations from standard modules are extended with Ex i modules using the new isolator terminal.
